SAM Tech is an accredited career college located in Houston, Texas. Our doors opened in 1985 and we have been building winning race engines ever since. We also offer an EFI Tuning Program. In 2011 SAM was approved for our Associate Degree program. We have two race teams that are staffed by our students who learn what it takes to be a part of a championship caliber professional team. Our graduates are hired by the best in the performance racing industry.

to December 2001, when Car Craft Magazine featured SAM graduate/ Instructor Patrick Topolinski and his 1979 Chevy Malibu. The article highlighted the craftsmanship, performance, and dedication behind a project that evolved into a 9-second drag car. Through countless days and nights in the shop and a passion for racing, Patrick and the students built a car that earned a feature in one of the automotive industry’s most respected publications.

Patrick Lopez, retired Navy SEAL, and Harry Hardman, former Conroe City Councilman, recently visited SAM Tech to recognize two outstanding SAM Tech students, Gordon M. and Michael H.
Gordon and Michael played a critical role in the success of the Albanian Presidential visit held at the Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Flag Park in Conroe, Texas. Their professionalism, dedication, and willingness to serve had a very positive impact on the event and contributed significantly to its overall success. In recognition of their efforts and achievements, Certificates of Commendation were presented to both SAM Tech students.
We are extremely proud of Gordon and Michael for their involvement in such meaningful community and international events. Their commitment reflects the values of leadership, service, and civic engagement that we strive to encourage in all of our students.
