While most people spend Father’s Day weekend kicking back, our Kolter dads showed up ready to tackle a wall repair project! 🔨

Thank you to these incredible fathers for donating their time, talents, and elbow grease to help keep Kolter looking its best. Our students and staff are lucky to have such an amazing community behind them. 💙🐾❤️

We interrupt your regularly scheduled weather monitoring for an update that’s considerably more exciting.

It’s time to kick off our new faculty introductions. 🙌🏼

Over the next few weeks, you’ll meet the amazing educators joining Team Kolter. Some are returning to familiar hallways, some are finding their way around our building for the first time, and every one of them is going to make our school stronger.

First up, Ms. Bleyer and Mr. Pritchett.

We’re thrilled they’ve chosen Kolter and can’t wait for you all to get to know them.

Welcome to Kolter-land. It’s a special place, and you’re going to fit right in. 🎉🐾💯

Turns out you can graduate from 5th grade, but you can’t escape Ms. Lyons’ memory. 😂

Our graduates reunited with their Pre-K teacher today, and she was still sharing hilarious stories from their four-year-old days. The kids got bigger, but the memories are still crystal clear. ❤️

A full-circle Kolter moment with one truly unforgettable teacher. 🎓✨

Full circle Cougar moment.

Our seniors placed their graduation caps on our kindergartners today — passing the torch from the biggest Cougars to the littlest ones.

That’s the Kolter way. 💙🐾❤️

From their last day at Kolter to their last week of high school.

Seven years between these two selfies. Same kids turned young adults, same energy, same huge hearts.

Watching you grow up is a gift. I am so incredibly proud of every single one of you.

Class of 2019, go change the world. I’ll be cheering the loudest, always. 💙🐾❤️

Class of 2019, we were proud of you then, and somehow we’re even more proud of you now.

Go make us all ❤️🐾💙

There were cheers.
There were hugs.
There were definitely a few tears.

Today, our fifth graders took their final walk through Kolter, surrounded by the students, teachers and loved ones who have watched them learn, grow, and become leaders.

What a privilege it’s been to watch them shine.

One minute they were logging into kindergarten from kitchen tables and learning how to unmute themselves, and the next they were walking across a stage headed to middle school.

The Kolter Class of 2026 has never really known a “typical” elementary school experience. They started during a pandemic, moved into a brand-new school, and somehow grew into a group of leaders, athletes, performers, and genuinely wonderful humans.

To the families who volunteered, decorated events, cheered from the sidelines, and partnered with us through every milestone—thank you. This class helped shape Kolter, and so did you.

Congratulations, Class of 2026. We miss you already.❤️🐾💙

One group is headed to middle school.

One group is headed to college.

On Thursday, they’ll walk the halls of Kolter together.

Join us as we celebrate our current 5th graders and welcome back the Class of 2019 for one of our favorite traditions. ❤️💙🎓🐾

Ten years of Mrs. Charles leading Kolter… and what a beautiful, unforgettable decade it has been. ❤️🐾💙

Through hurricanes, Kolter North, charter buses, virtual learning, and every challenge in between, Mrs. Charles has shown up with unwavering loyalty, endless heart, and the kind of dedication that makes Kolter feel like home to so many.

I’ve only had the privilege of being part of 9 of those 10 years, but I truly cannot imagine a better leader, teammate, early morning/middle of the night texter, or friend to walk through it all with.

Her love for Kolter shines through in every hallway, every tradition, every student, and every little thing that makes this school so special. Because of her leadership, Kolter has continued to grow, thrive, and stay the sweetest place through every season.

Happy 10 years to Mrs. Charles, the heart, soul, and magic behind Kolter. 💙🐾
