Day 2 of Great Expectations training is in the books! 💙🧡

Today was filled with matching shirts, team songs and chants, meaningful conversations, and plenty of collaboration. We left feeling inspired, energized, and excited to bring these new principles into our classrooms and strengthen our school culture as a whole.

This is only the beginning, and we can’t wait to see the positive impact these practices will have on our students, staff, and Carpenter community! ✨

✨ What a magical night at our Paris Art Shop at Carpenter for our Weekly Summer Book Club! 🎨📚

Students had such a wonderful time exploring their creativity, bringing a little piece of Paris to life through beautiful artwork, and sharing in great stories together. The joy, imagination, and laughter filled the room, it was truly a night to remember! 🇫🇷💙

We can’t wait to continue our adventure around the world next week! 🌍✈️ Join us for our London Mystery Scavenger Hunt Night, it’s sure to be full of fun, surprises, and teamwork your kids won’t want to miss! 🔍🇬🇧

Day 1 of Great Expectations is in the books! 📚⭐

Staff from Carpenter and Parkwood Elementary spent the day learning, collaborating, and growing together. We explored communication skills, the importance of setting high expectations for ourselves and our students, and strategies for building a positive school culture where everyone can thrive.

We’re excited to continue the journey and can’t wait to dive back into learning tomorrow for Day 2!

Planning for the 26-27 school year is underway as we joined several DPISD schools at the TEPSA conference this week.

We can’t wait to bring new inspiration, innovative ideas, and a continued commitment to making DPISD the best place for our students, staff, and families. The future is bright at Carpenter Elementary, and we’re ready to make this year one to remember!
