We are thrilled to welcome Mrs. Rendon to the Purple Sage family and are excited for the future of our campus under her leadership. With 26 years of dedicated service to Galena Park ISD, she brings a wealth of experience, passion, and commitment to student success.

As we begin this new chapter, we look forward to working together to continue building a strong, supportive, and inspiring learning community for all of our Bulldogs.

A huge Bulldog shoutout to Ms. Tamez and Ms. DeBato for representing Purple Sage Elementary at this year’s annual Literacy Symposium! 📚✨

These incredible educators presented to fellow teachers and shared impactful practices they use to support English Language Learners in reading, writing, and speaking. We are so proud of the amazing work they shared and the way they represented PSE! 💜🐾

Also, shoutout to our other educators who took time out of their summer to continue learning and growing professionally. That dedication speaks volumes! 🙌🏼

Galena Park ISD has remained committed to supporting children in our community by offering free summer meals. Through the Texas Department of Agriculture’s Seamless Summer Option, the district will once again provide free breakfast and lunch to all children 18 years of age and younger during summer 2026.

The program will run from May 26 through July 2, 2026, with serving times varying by campus. No registration is required—children may simply visit a participating school site during serving hours. Please note that program guidelines require meals to be consumed on campus.
