Stepping into an interview can be nerve-racking, so our students got some practice in first!👏
During our Professional Development Meeting, students from different programs interviewed each other, introduced themselves, and worked on building confidence in a professional setting.
These activities help students get more comfortable talking about their goals, making connections, and preparing for future job opportunities.✨
From the football field to the electrical field! 🏈⚡
Allen Lamar Fields Jr. grew up in Mississippi learning the electrical trade from his stepfather and grandfather. He went on to play professional football, and when that chapter closed, God led him right back to his roots — all the way to Houston, TX.
Today, he walked across the stage as a Houston Career Institute Electrical Program graduate, Class of 2026. 🎓🤘
