YES Prep Southside Secondary

A strong school year starts before the first day of class.

Join us for the YES Prep Cares Back-to-School Health Fair, where families can access free vaccines, school supplies, haircuts and community resources to help students start the school year healthy, prepared and ready to learn.

Through partnerships with Texas Children's, Ogle School, First Student and others, families will have access to resources and services—all in one place.

We're also excited to welcome Commissioner Lesley Briones and Council Member Edward Pollard as we come together to support Houston families.

Families can enjoy:
• Free vaccines provided by Texas Children's
• 300 free backpacks filled with school supplies
• Free or low-cost haircuts provided by Ogle School
• Community resources and support services
• Resources from the YES Prep Special Education Department

This summer, turn your reading goals into rewards! Through the Pizza Hut BOOK IT! Summer of Stories program, students can track their reading and earn a free Personal Pan Pizza by meeting monthly reading goals. Parents set the goal, students do the reading, and the rewards follow!
