She enjoyed relaxing with a good book on the beach and experienced the vibrant culture of Xochimilco while sailing down its ancient canals aboard a traditional trajinera. Along the way, she listened to live mariachi and ranchera music performed by musicians lining the riverbanks!

Middle Schooler, Madi, is having an adventure-filled ! 📚🎶🌎

She’s been reading several books from Mr. Danckaert’s summer reading list, attended a Kate Watson concert, snorkeled off the coast near Santa Rosa National Park in Costa Rica, explored Volcán Tenorio National Park, and visited The Health Museum.

From literature and music to science and travel, Madi is making the most of every opportunity to learn and explore this summer! ☀️

The Danckaert family is embracing the ! 🎭✨ 

They enjoyed a performance of the opera, Orfeo, while Brigitte has been busy reading The Light Princess, The Selfish Giant, and The Princess and the Goblin. The family rounded out their adventures with a visit to the science museum, where they explored exhibits and enjoyed a 3D movie about animal rescue. 📚🧪
