On the menu during session 1 of Cooking Well for Healthy Blood Pressure was Greek Meatballs with Tzatziki Sauce (prepared in a skillet and air fryer), Balsamic Carrots and Rice Pilaf. The session was held Thursday, June 11th at the Judge Ted Poe Community Center. The topics discussed were understanding blood pressure, the DASH eating plan, being more active and practicing other healthy lifestyle behaviors.

Participants worked in groups to prepare our feast. Some used the air fryer for the first time and they were excited. To learn more about Cooking Well for Healthy Blood Pressure or to schedule a Series contact our office at 713-274-0950.
