The benefits of a Day Program versus in-home care are well documented! Activities such as cognitive games, art projects and reminiscing stimulate memory and communications skills and are important in preserving brain function and moments of connection.
Importantly, caregivers also have the added benefits of greatly needed respite and more productive work schedules. Studies have found that caregivers who used adult day services reported lower stress and the ability to maintain their relationships for longer than those who did not.
As you see, the benefits keep adding up when considering the cost of Amazing Placeās Day Program versus paid home care for someone in the early stages of the disease.
With everything it offers, itās hard to find a better value than our Day Program whether itās for one or five days per week ā and if you are interested, we currently have openings in our Day Program at both campuses. Visit our website to learn more and schedule a tour! š
