⚛️ The Rice–Max Planck Partnership in Quantum Materials (Q-RaMP) was signed

🧡 Rice University was the place to be as thousands of Netherlands fans turned our campus into a sea of orange for the Oranje Fanwalk en route to the FIFA World Cup match in Houston. Energy security and regional stability remain central priorities in the Eastern Mediterranean’s continued emergence as a key player in future global energy markets.

To help address these challenges, the Baker Institute and the Center for Energy Studies, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy has launched the Eastern Mediterranean Energy Center (EMEC). Formed from a collaboration between the U.S., Greece, Cyprus and Israel, the center aims to foster innovative solutions in energy infrastructure and emerging technologies while promoting regional cooperation and economic development.
