The 1st week of CLA’s summer camp ended sprinkles of gratitude and donuts of happiness! 🍩🍩🍩🩷🩵🧡
Our CLA toddlers had so much fun crafting their own tacos! 🌮🎨 Through this hands-on activity, they explored creativity and imagination (Creative Arts), practiced fine motor skills while assembling their tacos (Physical Development), and built language skills as we talked about ingredients and traditions (Communication & Language).
We also introduced a little cultural learning—tacos originated in Mexico, and it’s never too early to begin appreciating and learning about different cultures around the world. Experiences like these help nurture curiosity, respect, and a love for diversity from a young age. ❤️🌎
