It’s been a great CALF! Mrs. Stover and Mrs. Gensic led a teen/tween workshop for the second year. This one started with a Pooh personality quiz. Then everyone read about their character and wrote from their character’s perspective about their day at CALF.

CALF kickoff party was incredible with top readers from AISD and other surrounding districts celebrating the Winnie the Pooh characters!

Tonight is the night! If you received a Top Reader certificate from your librarian, we will see you at the CALF Kickoff Party downtown tonight starting at 4:45!

200 Hour Beanstack Challenge begins in 3 days!!! Happy summer reading!

No pictures because we don't want to spoil the surprise, but we did it! We whittled 300 books down to 20 for our Mockingbird list.

Today was day one of our Mockingbird Selection Day. Our task is to whittle down over 300 picture books published this year down to 20 of our favorites for K-2 students. We still have a ways to go tomorrow! Wish us luck.
