Appeal from PEGGY PARSONS MCDONELL ’91
For those who don’t know, Peggy’s youngest son, Michael Bennett McDonell, he was adopted from China and was born with a solitary kidney and chronic kidney disease. After years of exceeding expectations regarding his health and kidney function, Michael is now in need of a kidney transplant. Michael is a compassionate, outgoing, and loyal young man who loves soccer, performing in school plays, and supporting those around him.
His family is seeking a living kidney donor. Potential donors should have Blood Type O and no history of diabetes or high blood pressure.
All testing and medical costs are covered by Michael’s insurance.

MADELEINE DAY ’13 married John Haden in November 2024 in Winter Park, Florida. Ellen Heiman ’13 and Caroline Hale ’13 served as bridesmaids. Madeleine is the daughter of Mary-Clare Mertes Day ’85.
Madeleine has been an Imagineer with The Walt Disney Company since 2018. She is featured discussing her work on Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows in a new Disney+ documentary about the resort and is also featured on the Disney Parks YouTube channel giving a resort room tour.

LINDSAY BUCHANAN FISHER ’10 recently celebrated her first wedding anniversary with her husband, Dr. Brian Fisher. Lindsay is the daughter of Angela Lombard Buchanan ’83. Lauren Buchanan ’12 and Danielle Mouton ’10 served as bridesmaids, and Sarah Mitchell ’10 served as a reader at the couple’s wedding celebration on May 3, 2025.
