Meet our Summer 2026 interns! ☀️

Over the next few weeks, they'll be gaining hands-on experience, learning from our teams, and contributing to projects across the company. We're excited to have them on board and look forward to seeing what they accomplish this summer.

Several headwalls are leaving our Houston facility, including this one headed to an energy plant in Indianapolis, where it'll be used in a drainage system for a 60" HDPE pipe.

This specific headwall was manufactured with a 3:1 slope, one of several designs our team can produce to meet the needs of our customers.

Headwalls play an important role in protecting drainage infrastructure by directing water flow and reducing erosion around pipe openings. They're designed to keep stormwater systems working as intended for years to come.

Our precast concrete has earned the SMaRT (Sustainable Materials Rating Technology) certification, recognizing qualities like:

Locke and other National Precast Concrete Association member producer plants achieved the Sustainable Gold level through this process. As sustainability continues to become a bigger focus across the construction industry, certifications like SMaRT provide a more complete picture of a product’s environmental impact.

A big congratulations to Ruben Ortiz for successfully completing all seven ACI University Certificate Programs offered through the American Concrete Institute (ACI).

These programs covered everything from construction practices to advanced concrete technologies, with certification exams required for each one for programs such as:

🔹 Repair Application Procedures
🔹Anchorage Design
🔹 Four additional specialized certificate programs

As the property grew, so did the need for a reliable underground electrical system. That's where we come in — our product served as a key access point for routing underground electrical conduits, supporting cable installation, maintenance, and future system upgrades.

This vault recently left our facility for a data center project in Abilene, Texas, where it will help protect and support electrical infrastructure essential to the facility's operations. As demand for data centers continues to grow, projects like this support the technology and systems people rely on every day.
