Happy Neurodiversity Pride Day!

Shoutout to ReelMusic performer Kyle Cousins for sharing his story on Houston Matters during this year's Festival! When Kyle was diagnosed with autism as a child, doctors told his parents a musical career would never be possible. Today, he’s proving them wrong with a thriving career as a professional musician!

ReelWorkplace 2026 brought business and community together to champion mental health at work 💼

By recognizing the diverse ways people experience and manage mental health, organizations can build inclusive environments where individuals feel seen, supported and empowered. Attendees gained practical insights into creating a culture that values mental well-being as a foundation for individual and organizational success.

As we close out National Mental Health Awareness Month, we encourage all workplaces to build inclusive, resilient spaces that foster a culture that puts well-being first.

From "Pink Pony Club" and "Rocket Man" to "For Once in My Life" and "This Is Me," the energy at this year’s ReelMusic was absolutely electric! 🎤✨

We’re still humming the tunes of our incredible performers. The stage was filled with world-class talent, reminding us all of the power music has to bridge gaps and unite us. Thank you to everyone who shared their voice and their heart with us!

As we recognize National Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re looking back at ReelFilm: Mental Health Night from this year's ReelAbilities Houston Film & Arts Festival.

The screening of "Blind AF" opened an essential conversation about the intersection of disability and mental wellness. We are especially grateful to the Alexander Jewish Family Service Behavioral & Mental Health Services team for leading an interactive panel that brought these themes to life.

Art remains one of our most powerful tools for breaking stigmas and fostering understanding. Thank you for joining us in prioritizing mental health, not just this month, but every day.
