I received an unexpected package about a week ago and it took my breath away. It was memorabilia from a sweet college friend Renita and alumni of SBC Southern Bible College . Renita Leece-Frye and I, though we live 1000s of miles apart, we have kept up with each other through the years and it's been a great blessing. When I was full-time in Cosmetic and Fashion, as a National Makeup Artist and Sale specialist, she participated in my events even winning a drawing from a Dillard's, as I was hosting an event for the holidays. I promise it was not rigged and I didn't pull the winner. I tried to look for the picture of the winning and it's not in my photos but here's back in the day (12 yrs ago perhaps the event was more like 15 yrs ago). The moment I opened this gift from Renita, I felt so excited, like I had won a great gift and it was! Thank you so so very much Renita for always being a sweet precious friend and loving me through my life journeys. Isn't this wonderful memories she sent me? I'll have to find my record player to play the record but I think it's behind a bunch of Christmas boxes.

Momma said, "SBC didn't play football, did they?" I told her, "Oh yes they did! It was flag football and I remember daddy ( Phillip Williams Sr. ) playing in a park on Oats Rd!" Who remembers the football games? I know I have a picture somewhere.
