Woodland Acres Middle School

We are excited to welcome Mr. Cortney Pichon as our new Assistant Principal at Woodland Acres Middle School!

Mr. Pichon brings a great skillset to our campus. Most recently, he served as Assistant Principal at O'Donnell Middle School in Alief ISD. Prior to that, he held several leadership roles at Galena Park Middle School, where he served as a coach, team leader, department chair, and math teacher.

Mr. Pichon is thrilled to return home to GPISD, and we look forward to the energy and expertise he'll bring to our WAMS family. Mr. Killough is retiring in December of this year and will remain at WAMS until that time. Please join us in welcoming Mr. Pichon!

¡Nos entusiasma dar la bienvenida al Sr. Cortney Pichon como nuestro nuevo subdirector en Woodland Acres Middle School!

El Sr. Pichon aporta un gran conjunto de habilidades a nuestro plantel. Más recientemente, se desempeñó como subdirector en O'Donnell Middle School, dentro del distrito escolar Alief ISD. Anteriormente, ocupó diversos cargos de liderazgo en Galena Park Middle School, donde trabajó como entrenador, líder de equipo, jefe de departamento y maestro de matemáticas.

El Sr. Pichon está encantado de regresar a casa, al distrito GPISD, y esperamos con entusiasmo la energía y la experiencia que aportará a nuestra familia de WAMS. El Sr. Killough se jubilará en diciembre de este año y permanecerá en WAMS hasta ese momento. ¡Por favor, acompáñennos a dar la bienvenida al Sr. Pichon!
