A year that will go down in history!
🐾 The Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship broke the record as the first program to be ranked No. 1 by The Princeton Review for the seventh year in a row.
🎓 The Executive DBA program graduated its inaugural cohort.
🏆 And a team of students were the first team from the University of Houston to win the Southeastern Hedge Fund Competition!

A global win for Houston! 🐾💪
Congratulations to BBA students Chloe Enard, Kushaagra Sood, Ben Sassi and Shiva Venugopal and MS Finance candidate Zac Yoakam, who presented to some of the top hedge fund professionals in the industry and made history as the first team to bring home the trophy in the Southeastern Hedge Fund Competition. 🏆🎉

Entrepreneurship isn’t the only thing KICKING off ⚽
This week, Houston area high schoolers are visiting to learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship from the college’s No. 1 ranked Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship.
Staying in theme with the World Cup, students are developing sports-related business plans, hearing from a panel of FIFA officials and touring Houston Stadium.
Wolff Center Program Director of Community Outreach Danna Ceron said theming the summer camp around FIFA allows students to understand that behind every major event, there are business professionals who help it happen.

More sales companies are using artificial intelligence to engage with customers, according to Associate Professor Johannes Habel.
That’s why in his Digital Sales course, students learned how to conduct these tasks themselves, and then how to build an AI agent to do it for them.

Before he became one of the most cited scholars in sales, Michael Ahearne was on the mound for the Montreal Expos.
Today, he’s Professor and Research Director of the Stephen Stagner Sales Excellence Institute at , where his work shapes how companies use data to build teams, lead people and drive performance. ScholarGPS recently named him the most cited sales scholar globally.
His path into the field started with a market research class and sharpened through real industry work that showed him just how many questions sales still needed answered.
