We are so excited to have Mrs. Johns join NCTHS!

We want to wish Angelice good luck as she, her family, and Mrs. Carter travel to Washington D.C. to compete at National History Day this week! Our teachers support our students both in and out of the classroom! A big shoutout to Mrs. Fleming for helping to secure a scholarship for this event.

We are so proud of Kennedi! She was selected to participate in Girls State and was elected to the State Court of Criminal Appeals!

New students and Dr. Sutton had the opportunity to dig a little deeper into our strands during STRAND Camp this week.

School’s out but our PTSA supports the students, teachers, and staff all year long! Thank you for the summer birthday goodies New Century Technology High School PTSA!

Students at New Century Technology High School recently showcased their creativity, curiosity, and research skills during the school’s annual STREAM Showcase & Research Symposium.

The event featured an impressive range of student-led projects exploring topics such as The Emergence of Class Consciousness During Industrialization in Mamerica, Axolotls in Space, Stone Baby Syndrome, and Novel Isolation of L. Okinawensis in the United States: An Assessment of Microbial and Antimicrobial Differences Between a Public and Private Greenspace.

Projects were organized by academic and field categories and evaluated on depth of knowledge, conceptual understanding, real-world relevance, research quality, and methodology. Students presented their work through empirical studies, TED Talk-style presentations, literature reviews, and design/model projects — demonstrating both rigorous academic inquiry and innovative thinking.
