Thursday, June 24, 1926-The Huntsville Daily Times-Visit the Electric Home-Now open Daily from 2:30 to 9 p.m. On Whitesburg Drive. This is not an elaborate display but a modern home constructed and wired for comfort and convenience. See the illuminated House number, the electric log in fireplace, the electric dish washer, the electric ironing machine, the kitchen and numerous other electrical appliances in operation. Nothing on display is offered for sale. Some electrical appliances on display given away each day. Prizes were awarded yesterday to Mrs. J.M. Haines-501 W.Holmes Street, Mrs. J. D. Giles -906 Pratt Avenue, Mrs. Dorothy M. Apperson-California Street, City. Alabama Power Co.-Commercial Department.
Saturday, June 24, 1893-The Huntsville Gazette-For the purest and freshest candies, stick and fancy, nuts, fruits, cakes, crackers, canned goods, and everything in the confectionery line; most complete assortment of toys, china ware, glass ware, and notions generally, call at the old sreliable estblishment of Mrs. E. Dentler, who has been doing business at the old stand since 1859.
