The play surface and rails are in the
The client went with a matching vegan suede which I coated in Scotch guard for the future drink holders.

Under the suede is old school 1/16" headliner material which really made a difference in the play feeling.

The holes in the rails are for giant neo magnets to hold components and drinks.

I drilled a forsner but just to the skin.
There are inset nuts in the base to pull the top tight.

The "stain" is light leak from the window.

Progress update on the .
Frame and walls are 15-ply stained titan oak
instead of milled hardwood and you will see why soon.
There are 1.25" magnets in the rails to hold components and cupholders.

Time to go choose the play surface and waterproof it.
Measurements are 6'x3' surface and 7'x4' outer.
Next is running wirws through the rails and steel frame.

Finally an update on the
The holes in the rail are 1.5" neodymium magnets to hold accessories.
There will be in the diamonds in the steel legs.
Titan oak stain and urethane clear.
Baltic birch railes, frame and base.
Can't wait to show the lights in the rails.

Part 3 of the build is remote control.
40a solid state relay at the Delta which powers the collector and a 12v LED power supply.
Input is a 5v phone charger going to a switch holder.
All runs over 20ga 4 conductor to each drop.

I'm taking the 4" hoses and splitting 3way to 2.5" outputs and I designed magnetic caps with a little silicon to seal it up.

The square tube was held with for the perfect 90, coated with penetrol for rust protection

I learned that Goofoff sticker remover does great for removing mill scale for a clean look.

Birch ply fed through my engraved with website info.

Stands are a mix of tube steel, round bar, and rebar.

My covid update: Hey all, I've been silent for a while trying to figure things out when covid cancelled all my speaking gigs, classes, marketing, swap meets, etc So, the long and short of it is that and are going back to part time for a little while. I used to get one or two recruiter a week asking me to take jobs, but I loved mine too much. I said yes to one on April first and I'm finishing my first week doing training videos for this IT company and I'm going to stick with it a while. JoJaqs isn't dead. I'm actually doing a live session at in July and still working on projects in my off hours. I just finished a school design in Maryland for TinkerIT and I'll upload pictures soon of that. !!!!
