Due to inclement weather in our region, many of our customers are experiencing brown-outs and power loss which may be impacting your Allband services. There is an outage in the following community: Lakes in the Green. The estimated restoral of power to the affected areas is 11 pm.

At this time, all of our service distribution locations are operational. Allband uses redundant power solutions to ensure that our voice and data services remain available at all time.

Since Allband is a Fiber to the Home (FTTH) provider, the optical terminals that we install at your premise rely on power to operate, which is why we install Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) at your location. If you are experiencing a power outage, please remember that the battery back on your UPS should only be used for important or emergency phone calls. The more you use it the faster it will drain the battery and the sooner you will be without your phone.

If you are utilizing a generator, please remember that our UPS (pictured below) will need to be plugged into an outlet that is powered by your generator. If not, the battery will eventually run out. (If your UPS has power, it will have green lights at location 1 & 2, indicating power to the unit, if location 1 is amber, it is running on battery and commercial power has been lost).

Once power is restored, you may need to power cycle your router (do not reset as this will lose your settings to our network).
