Saint Luke Church seats 800. A large glass window separates the church from the narthex. In Luke's Gospel, Jesus picks up the scroll of the prophet Isaiah.

There is a sense of merging the old and the new in our church.The ceiling is sloped, with exposed wood decking.The walls are made of exposed native Indiana limestone. It portrays the scene, found only in Luke's Gospel, of Jesus in the synagogue. On June 11, 2026, as part of the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. bishops will consecrate the United States of America to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Parishes around the country are encouraged to join the bishops in celebrating the consecration of our nation to the Sacred Heart.

At St. Luke's evening Masses today and tomorrow we will pray the prayer of consecration, entrusting our country to the Most Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Please join us if you are able! YOUNG ADULTS: Theology on Tap begins this week!

Theology on Tap (or TOT for short) is a summer speaker series that gathers young adults ages 18-39. Each night has a featured Catholic speaker, sponsor, and different food truck each week. Invite your coworkers, bring your roommate, and meet new people!

The night will include a full bar, a food truck, and a presentation from Fr. Hyde.
