The creativity is already flowing! This week, young artists officially kicked off our Perfect Match Civic Arts & Engagement Summer Program, where they will spend the next several weeks exploring culture, community, and civic voice through creative expression and public engagement.

Led by Arts for Learning Teaching Artists Gary Gee and Omar Rashan, students are diving into hands-on artmaking, meaningful conversations, and community-centered projects that encourage them to use their creativity as a tool for self-expression, connection, and positive change.

We canโ€™t wait to see how their ideas, experiences, and artistic voices take shape throughout the programโ€”and weโ€™re especially excited to share their work with the community!

Creativity takes a community!
A huge THANK YOU to the incredible volunteers who spent time with us assembling ARTable Art Kits that will be distributed to youth for free throughout Indy Parks all summer long! And our intern, Ella, for helping make shirts for our ArtForce youth. ๐ŸŽจโ˜€๏ธ

Because of your helping hands, hundreds of young people will have access to creative experiences that inspire imagination, self-expression, and joyful learning beyond the classroom.

Every kit packed represents an opportunity for a child to discover something new, build confidence, and connect through the arts. We couldnโ€™t do this work without volunteers who believe in the power of creativity to transform lives.

Please join us in celebrating these amazing community champions! ๐Ÿ’™ Interested in volunteering? Reach out to Tammy @ [email protected]
