Mr. Scaringe, the Assistant Principal next door at Douglas MacArthur Elementary School had Miss Campbell and Ms. Meredith's classes over to learn a little bit about basketball. They were great cheerleaders and loved using the big gym! 🏀🏃♂️🏃♀️

We had another wonderful day for our 3rd day of Jump Start today. We are working hard to learn Kindergarten routines, nursery rhymes, and how to be a nice friend!

Day 2 of Jump Start was another successful and fun day! We continued practicing Kindergarten routines and procedures, ate breakfast and lunch, made a craft, and the rain held off to play together for recess!

We had a great first day meeting our newest Wise Owls during Jump Start. They made new friends, ate breakfast and lunch, played on the playground, and learned how to do things in the classroom!

That's a wrap! Today we had our End of Kindergarten Celebrations. We had 12 students exit our EL program! We also said goodbye to Mrs. Harloff, our music teacher! She will be missed! We are so proud of all of our Wise Owls. First grade, here come! 🎓👨🎓👩🎓

Today we celebrated the end of our Book Blast with a celebration. Students opened their books at the same time. They are excited to bring their new books home to read!
