Using a hydroponic Flex Acre system funded through grants and partnerships, students now grow up to 30 pounds of lettuce each week for their school lunch program — all while gaining hands-on experience in horticulture, nutrient management and sustainability.

The lessons learned in FFA don’t end after graduation. 💙🌾
Past national president Jackie Mundt credits her experiences in FFA with helping shape her career, her leadership and her passion for serving others. Today, she continues advocating for agriculture, mentoring young people and helping rural communities thrive through her work and volunteer service.
“FFA built the foundation that allowed me to go on to succeed,” Mundt says.
