This summer, we're highlighting some of the exciting learning experiences our students have through the IB curriculum at ISI!
In the Kindergarten "How the World Works" unit, students explored how science helps us understand the world around us. Throughout the unit, they learned about the scientific method, made observations, tested hypotheses through experiments, and practiced using tools like microscopes and droppers.
Students also heard from parents working in science-related fields, including medicine and space travel, and took a field trip to WonderLab to bring their learning to life. Through hands-on inquiry and exploration, our learners discovered what it means to think and act like scientists!

SEASON RECAP | Middle School Track & Field
The Middle School Track & Field team had an incredibly rewarding season. From the very beginning, one of the primary goals was to build a close-knit group of athletes capable of competing at a high level in both the PAAC and IISL. The athletes embraced that vision and did an outstanding job fostering a positive and competitive environment throughout the season.
The team's perseverance paid off, capturing the PAAC Championship. They also put together an impressive performance at the IISL meet, showcasing their depth and competitiveness. Throughout the season, the team celebrated multiple event winners across a variety of disciplines, highlighting the team's talent and versatility, including Beckett Garry's top-three finish in the State Meet.

SEASON RECAP | Girls Varsity Tennis
After entering the season with a young and relatively inexperienced roster, the ISI Gryphons Girls Varsity Tennis team focused on growth, consistency, and building a strong team culture.
As the season came to a close, the Gryphons reflected on a year defined by more than standings and scores. “This season was defined not only by results, but by the friendships, growth, and memories our team created together,” Bougher said. The team's commitment to one another, combined with their on-court development, made the 2026 season one to remember.

On the last day of school, we celebrated every donor who helped support our ONE Future $14 million campaign. No matter the size of their gift, each donor was invited to leave a lasting legacy by signing the top of our replica Eiffel Tower. So far, we have raised over $13.2 million of our $14 million goal, with over 190 donors! Visit our website if you'd like to show your support.
Thank you for helping build the future - one gift, one signature, and one lasting impact at a time. Stay tuned for construction updates throughout the summer!

On Friday, ISI student-athletes and their families came together for the Athletics Awards Assembly to celebrate a year of hard work and memorable accomplishments. Athletes from across our programs were recognized for their contributions throughout the season, and the Gryphon Guide Awards were presented to students who demonstrated exceptional leadership, sportsmanship, and dedication to their teams. Keep an eye on the ISI Athletics page this week as we recognize each of this year’s Gryphon Guide recipients!
The assembly ended with a heartfelt tribute to Grade 7/8 Soccer teammate Ben Wade. His teammates signed a jersey that was presented to his family, honoring Ben’s place on the team and the impact he had on those around him.
