As your chapter transitions officers, make sure to take some time to review your finances from this past year to see how money was used. Do you need to budget more for recruitment events? Can you find way save money on certain events? Do you want to have more fundraising events or did you have the right amount? Review and reflect and share with your chapter your findings!

Today, we honor Juneteenth, a day that marks the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates the freedom, resilience, and enduring spirit of the African American community. On June 19, 1865, the news of emancipation finally reached the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas—more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed.
Juneteenth is a powerful reminder of the struggles faced and the triumphs achieved in the ongoing journey toward equality and justice. It’s a day for all of us to reflect on our history, recognize the profound impact of African American culture, and commit ourselves to building a future where freedom and equality are truly universal.
Juneteenth is not just a historic moment but a day to honor the rich culture, heritage, and contributions of Black Americans. It’s a time to reflect on the progress we’ve made, acknowledge the challenges that remain, and commit ourselves to the pursuit of justice for all.
Happy Juneteenth! Let’s celebrate the progress we’ve made and continue to strive for a better, more inclusive world for everyone. Freedom is a journey, not a destination. Let’s walk it together. 🌍❤️💪
