🤗 Hug a CNA Today! 🤗 CNA Week 2026

Certified Nursing Assistants are often the first to answer the call light and the last to leave a resident's side. They provide comfort, compassion, dignity, and hands-on care during some of life's most challenging moments.

Behind every smile, helping hand, and act of kindness is a dedicated professional carrying the physical, mental, and emotional demands of caring for others. From long shifts and lifting responsibilities to supporting residents and families through difficult times, CNAs give so much of themselves each day.

They also carry the weight of grief - mourning the loss of residents they have cared for and built meaningful relationships with, and at times, coping with the loss of a coworker, family or friend. These experiences can leave a lasting impact, even when they continue to show up each day with compassion and strength.

As CNA Week begins to end, take a moment to THANK a CNA, ENCOURAGE a CNA, or simply give one a HUG (with permission, of course!). Your appreciation, kind words, and recognition can make a meaningful difference.

As we continue to celebrate CNA Week 2026, Faith Healthcare Training Center would like to take a moment to honor and celebrate the life of one of our QMA students, Jaydah Cousins.
Jaydah's life was taken far too soon, and we extend our heartfelt condolences to her mother, father, siblings, family, friends, classmates and all who loved her. At just 22 years old, Jaydah was beautiful, intelligent, and quietly determined. Although she was soft-spoken, she was an outstanding student who accomplished so much at a young age (high school graduate, CNA, enrolled in QMA course) and had dreams of becoming a Registered Nurse.
Jaydah will always be remembered as one of our own Faith Angels. We are grateful that she was a part of the FHTC family, and her memory will continue to inspire us to pursue our goals, serve others with compassion, and cherish each day we are given.
