Northview had quite the morning at this year’s Washington Township Schools “W Awards”, which recognize staff from across the district for outstanding work!

The following staff members were recognized for the 2025-2026 school year:

- Rebecca Christensen - Northview Teacher of the Year
- LaToya Madden - Northview Classified Staff Member of the Year
- Imran Samra - Secondary First Year Teacher of the Year
- Katie Swartzendruber - Honored Schools Teacher Award Recipient
- Tom Hakim - District Administrator of the Year
- Ashley Emery - District Step Challenge Winner

What a year!!! Time to get some rest before we get ready for the 2026-2027 edition of Northview Falcon awesomeness!

We 💚💜 our Greenbriar Elementary Grizzlies! Tonight, a few Northview Artistically Talented and NJHS volunteers went over to Greenbriar Elementary for their end-of-year festival to help with some face painting and hair glitter ✨ The kids loved it! Go Grizzlies! Go Falcons! Go Panthers!

School Board Recognition Night! Last night, at the Washington Township Schools School Board Meeting, Northview's Instructional Leadership Team was recognized for it's recent Founder's Award from the National Institute for Excellence in Teaching! Way to go, Falcons!

Congratulations to the Northview Baseball team for completing an UNDEFEATED SEASON and winning the MIIC Championship tonight! Way to keep the Falcon championships coming, boys!

Congratulations to Tessa and Kasen for both winning the Marion County Championships in their events today!

Tessa: 1600m and 2400m

Additionally, the Northview Boys Track and Field Team took 2nd Place overall in Marion County! Way to go, Falcons!!!

Our last Northview Athletics Student Night of the year was a huge success! Over 200 Falcons stayed after school to see big wins from Baseball, Softball, Girls Tennis, and Boys Volleyball! And…the debut of our We Grow Panthers City Edition jerseys! Way to finish the year strong, Falcons!

As we celebrate our amazing Teachers, let’s look back on the fantastic year we’re about to finish at Northview:

- Increased student achievement data across all tested subjects!
- Record number of English Language Learners testing out of language services!
- County, MIIC, and District Championships in Athletics!
- Gold ratings in Performing Arts!
- Robotics District Championship!
- A national education leadership award through the National Institute for Excellence in Teaching!

We’re Growing Panthers and are so thankful for the hard work and dedication of the Northview Staff!
