Brendon Glass joins us from Indianapolis, Indiana after attending Indiana University School of Medicine. His interests within psychiatry include consultation-liaison psychiatry and general adult outpatient psychiatry.

Brendon is looking forward to meeting and working alongside the residents and faculty in our program after having such positive experiences with the people he encountered throughout medical school.

Liz Kerns joins us from Union City, Indiana after attending Indiana University School of Medicine. Her interests within psychiatry include Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and helping individuals recover from trauma.

Liz is looking forward to listening to her patients’ concerns, needs, and values and partnering with them to improve their health and wellness throughout residency.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys board games, hiking, cooking, and spending time with her dog, Theodore. 🐶

Daniel Smith joins us from Muncie, Indiana after completing the Indiana University School of Medicine MD/PhD Program. His interests within psychiatry include consult liaison psychiatry, integrated and collaborative care, psychotherapy, personality disorders, and clinical research.

Daniel is looking forward to making lifelong friends while learning how to become a great psychiatrist throughout residency.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys taking care of his pets, learning new skills (currently cooking, guitar, and chess), running and lifting, following Indy and IU sports, solving puzzles and playing board games, reading, and exploring new food and coffee spots. He’s also accompanied by Mayonnaise, the dog pictured above, and Barry, his very large orange cat! 🐶🐱

Austin Blais joins us from Indianapolis after attending Indiana University School of Medicine. Their interests within psychiatry include chronic pain and chronic illness, gender health, and neuromodulation.

Austin is looking forward to caring for fellow Hoosiers, learning as much as possible throughout residency, and working alongside great people.

Outside of medicine, their 6-year-old Pomeranian, Ted, loves joining them on bike rides! 🚲🐶

Anna Martin joins us from Indianapolis, Indiana after attending Indiana University School of Medicine. She plans to pursue the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fast track and is especially interested in community and perinatal psychiatry.

Anna is most looking forward to working alongside and learning from the incredible attendings, senior residents, and co-interns at IUSM throughout residency.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys music and art and is always up for an adventure — whether that’s traveling, trying new foods, or spending time in nature. 🌿

Jacob Snyder joins us from Fishers, IN after attending Marian University. His primary interest in psychiatry is addiction psychiatry, and he’s looking forward to building strong relationships with his co-residents while helping patients improve their lives.

Outside of medicine, Jacob enjoys running and lifting, spending time outdoors with his wife and son, and playing guitar. He’s also an avid college and NFL football fan and co-runs a fantasy football podcast and social media account with his best friend! 🏈

Originally from Indianapolis and after several years in Rhode Island, David is excited to join our program after attending Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, IL.

Their interests in psychiatry include adult psychotic and anxiety disorders, psychopharmacology, and neuromodulation. They’re most looking forward to learning alongside others who share their passion for psychiatry while building lifelong friendships and colleagues.

Outside of medicine, David is an avid reader, has played the drums for 20+ years, and is a big Colts and Pacers fan. They’ll also be making the move with their two dogs, Rhody and Vivian! 🐶
