Today, Tau Kappa Epsilon commemorates Juneteenth, honoring the day when news of emancipation reached the last enslaved people in Texas and marking a significant moment in the pursuit of freedom and equality.

Reaching New Limits 💪

Last week at the Charles R. Walgreen, Jr. 39th Annual Leadership Academy, Fraters stepped outside their comfort zones and onto the ropes course. Through teamwork, trust, and brotherhood, they challenged themselves, supported one another, and accomplished feats they never thought possible.

On Monday, June 8th, The 39th Annual Charles R. Walgreen, Jr. TKE Leadership Academy proudly graduated 72 Fraters from across the United States and Canada.

Today, we pause the relentless march of our daily lives to honor those who laid themselves upon the altar of freedom and never returned.

In his Memorial Day address to the Order of the Shield, Major General Charles “Whitt” Whittington, USA (Ret.) reflects on the enduring bond of our military veterans, and the heavy cost of the freedoms we hold dear.

"Our Declaration of Principles states that, above all else, this Fraternity stands for Men. Today, we mourn the absolute best of them. The brothers we remember today did not just pledge their loyalty to their country and their fellow man; they proved it with their very lives. They showed us that Love, Charity, and Esteem are not just words—they are principles worth dying for."

Tau Kappa Epsilon is a brotherhood for life. Today, we remember the Fraters whose lives were violently cut short so that ours might continue in peace. Let us honor their memory by living lives worthy of their ultimate sacrifice.

Chapter Spotlight: Xi-Omega at Virginia Tech

During their TKE Week 2026, the men of Xi-Omega raised over $283,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, setting a new Tau Kappa Epsilon record for the most money raised by a chapter for in a single year.

This incredible achievement also pushed Xi-Omega past an unbelievable milestone of $1,000,000+ raised for over the last five years.

From campus events to community support, their commitment to making a difference continues to set the standard across TKE Nation. Because of efforts like these, families at never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food.

We are proud to recognize Xi-Omega for their leadership, dedication, and impact in the fight against childhood cancer. Well done, Fraters!
