As we celebrate Juneteenth, remember to use this moment to be reflective and recognize how far we have come and where we will continue to go.
Black individuals in America have experienced harm, violence, and generational trauma but in the words of the stellar Maya Angelou, we rise!
Our histories and contributions cannot and shall not be denied, ignored, or, co-opted. Celebrate this day with honor and intention.
Happy Juneteenth, family!
