Yesterday, HHAI had the privilege of welcoming a special guest, Yigal Cohen, CEO of the Ghetto Fighters’ House Museum (Lohamei HaGeta'ot) in the Western Galilee region of Israel.
Mr. Cohen toured our student-created Interactive Holocaust Museum and shared how impressed he was with the students’ work, creativity, and dedication to preserving Holocaust memory and education.
We are grateful for his visit and look forward to continuing our collaboration with the Ghetto Fighters’ House Museum as we further develop and enhance our museum.

🏆🌍 International Recognition for HHAI Students! 🌍🏆
We are excited to share some incredible news from our technology program!
Our 5th and 6th grade students recently participated in an international coding and artificial intelligence competition hosted by Delightex Edu. The competition brought together students from around the world, including participants from Canada, Hong Kong, South Korea, Malta, and many other countries.
We are proud to announce that Hasten Hebrew Academy of Indianapolis has been selected as a winner in one of the competition’s most prestigious categories! Our students earned the AI Innovator Award in recognition of their creativity, technical skills, and innovative thinking.
As part of this achievement, HHAI has also been awarded 400 Delightex.edu licenses for the 2026–2027 school year, providing our students with continued access to cutting-edge coding, 3D design, and AI learning tools.
This accomplishment reflects the hard work of our students, the dedication of our teachers, and the support of our families. Students received their certificates during our End-of-the-School-Year Ceremony, where we proudly celebrated their achievement and recognized their outstanding work.

What an exciting and memorable last day of school!
We packed the day with so many wonderful activities as we celebrated another amazing school year together. We started by watching our End-of-the-Year Video Slideshow, created by our talented 6th graders, which concluded with a hilarious blooper reel prepared by the NewsFlash crew that had everyone laughing.
Next, we gathered for our Awards Ceremony, where each class and many individual students were recognized for their hard work, achievements, and contributions throughout the year. It was a joy to celebrate so many accomplishments!
After the ceremony, students and staff spent time signing yearbooks, sharing memories, and exchanging messages with friends and teachers.
The excitement continued with our annual game of Nuk'em, featuring students taking on teachers and alumni in a fun-filled competition. The game came down to the wire and ended in thrilling fashion, with the students securing a 10–9 victory!
To close out the day, we wished everyone a wonderful summer, said our goodbyes, and reflected on all the memories we've made together this year.
Thank you to our students, faculty, staff, and families for making this school year so special. Have a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer—we can't wait to see everyone again next year!

The Oak children celebrated the school's first ever prekindergarten graduation, an event thoughtfully organized by their parents. Wearing caps and gowns, the children proudly walked down a red carpet to the stage. Each child's name was announced along with three adjectives that captured their unique personalities before they received a certificate and a sunflower. Afterward, the young graduates and their families enjoyed delicious refreshments and captured many memorable photos. The celebration marked a joyful conclusion to a wonderful school year.

HHAI first graders had an exciting introduction to the CodeSpark coding program at the end of this school year, and they impressed us with how quickly they picked up core coding concepts. Using the program’s visual, game‑like puzzles, students practiced sequencing—putting steps in the correct order to solve challenges—and explored the power of loops to repeat actions efficiently. They worked through each puzzle with curiosity and persistence, testing ideas, adjusting their plans, and celebrating each success along the way.
This early experience built a strong foundation in problem‑solving and logical thinking, and they’re already eager for next year when they’ll take the next big step: creating their very own games.

This week, our 8th grade class had an incredible and unforgettable trip to Washington, D.C.!
Students explored some of the nation’s most historic and exciting sites, including the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, the National Air and Space Museum, the National Archives, the U.S. Capitol, the Library of Congress, and the International Spy Museum.
The trip also included meaningful experiences such as meeting Jewish advocate A.D. Motzen, a private tour of the Capitol, a behind-the-scenes visit to the Library of Congress Judaica collection, and a nighttime monument tour and boat ride through Washington, D.C.
From educational opportunities to memorable adventures, the trip was a wonderful experience for our graduating class!
