Today is an important day for Indiana and the students we serve.
Indiana’s newly approved federal flexibility waiver cuts red tape, strengthens our focus on students, and puts more resources directly into classrooms—where they make the greatest difference.
This means increased freedom for educators to innovate, more transparent accountability for families, and greater momentum behind the important work already happening for our 1.13 million learners.
Many change‑agents across Indiana are already transforming what’s possible for students, and the approval of Indiana’s waiver gives these local change-agents even more flexibility to do what they do best: serve our students.
Together, we must keep pushing. We must keep improving. And we will keep our foot firmly on the gas pedal for each and every student.
Let’s keep up the momentum!
