ELMS PTO

School’s out… but the meals are still coming!

This summer, Lincoln County Schools is helping keep students fueled with FREE Grab ’N Go breakfast and lunch meal packs for children and young adults 18 years old and younger.

Beginning June 3 through July 22, families can pick up 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches every Wednesday at the following locations:

11 AM–1 PM
• Battleground Elementary

4 PM–6 PM
• Norris S. Childers Elementary
• Pumpkin Center Intermediate

Families should remain in their vehicles and pull through designated pick-up areas. Students do not need to be present.

Meal pick-up locations:
• Back parking lot at Battleground Elementary
• Back parking lot at Pumpkin Center Intermediate
• Side area near the bus lot at Norris S. Childers Elementary

Adults picking up meals will complete a form with the names of the students receiving meals.

It has been a wonderful school year! We want to thank you for your PTO membership and continued support and involvement. This year the ELMS PTO was able to:

🎉 Plan FUN activities for our students: Trick or Treat and Lucky Duck Hunt and prizes, Hang Time support, school store supplies, and treats for end of year activities
🦅 Purchase an ELMS mascot costume used at school and sporting events
🍎 Host teacher luncheons, monthly treats and gift card winners, as well as Teacher Appreciation Week activities
✅ Spirit Nights at Chick-fil-a, SportsPage, Safari Miles and more
📝 Support school activities such as rewards for reading challenges and provide kleenex and clorox to all classrooms
🌳 Begin planning for an outdoor classroom

We are excited to have new board members for the 26-27 and planning is already underway. Continue to follow us on social media for the latest updates, and please reach out with any ideas or questions. We love having new volunteers and new ideas!

We are thankful for our teachers that join PTO and show their support. They all received a Nothing Bundt Cakes last week and a few more of them received gift cards today in the raffle. Congrats to Mrs. K, Ms. Blake, Ms. Robinette, Ms. Morrison, Mrs. Shearin and Mrs. Stines.

Our teachers had a fiesta at lunch today thanks to our PTO families!
