As we wrap up another incredible school year, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to our amazing Solis Park PTSA and parent community. Your generosity, partnership, and countless volunteer hours helped make this year truly unforgettable for our students and staff.

From family events and community celebrations to student programs, staff appreciation, and so much more, every success was made possible because of your support. Together, we created meaningful experiences and lasting memories for our Lions.

A special thank you goes to our outgoing PTSA President, Haleh Fazeli Rad, whose leadership, dedication, and tireless commitment have left a lasting impact on our school community. We are incredibly grateful for all she has done to support Solis Park School.

Thanks to the generosity of our families and community, the PTSA was able to donate an incredible $50,000 to Solis Park School this year. This investment directly benefits our students and helps us continue providing exceptional opportunities for learning, growth, and enrichment.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚 and IUSD joins millions across the nation to raise awareness about this important topic.

Throughout the month, we will share information about our comprehensive approach to mental health and wellness. Our schools will also engage in a variety of fun activities around mental health to encourage discussions and to create positive connections while providing self-care tips and access to IUSD resources and supports.

Today is School Lunch Hero Day and we would like to thank our superhero Nutrition Services team for their hard work and dedication! Through their commitment to serving our students, they help ensure all have access to nutritious breakfasts and lunches. They serve over 12,000 breakfasts and approximately 17,000 lunches across the District per day! They are truly heroes. 💪🍎🥦💛

HUGE CONGRATS to Ms. Devon Zangger & Miss Emily Manton!!! Last night, Ms. Zangger was recognized as the IUSD Elementary Teacher of the Year, while Miss Manton was awarded the Teacher of Promise! We are so grateful to have both of these amazing educators here at Solis Park!!! 🦁

Ms. Palmeri, Mrs. Sierra, and Mrs. Barnett from our ESN Autism Program were proud to represent our program alongside our amazing Lion Allies at our “Nacho Average Lions” booth, where they sold nachos 🧀 to help raise funds. 🌟

We loved seeing our community come together to celebrate inclusion, connection, and support for all learners. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and made the night so meaningful!

Solis Park School is proud to participate in a sneaker recycling initiative designed to promote sustainability and environmental awareness. Families and students are encouraged to drop off any shoes that are no longer in use to the designated collection bins on campus.
