We recognize the severe weather affecting Europe, including Brussels, and acknowledge the impact this may have on our community.
We have been working closely with Brussels Expo to optimize the venue's recirculation, ventilation, and air-cooling systems throughout the exhibition halls, and we have additional resources in place onsite to support you throughout the event.
Brussels Expo is equipped with recirculation, ventilation, and air-cooling technologies designed to help reduce the impact of elevated temperatures within the exhibition halls. We are working closely with the venue to optimize the systems, which are running at maximum capacity 24 hours a day. Separate air-conditioning units have also been placed in multiple locations such as Workshops, Lectures, and the Heat Relief Room.
Here is what we have in place to support you:
✔️ A dedicated air-conditioned Heat Relief Room located in the Auditorium beneath Hall 7
✔️ Water refill stations throughout the venue, provided by BWT water+more
✔️ Onsite medical personnel available in room 711B, next to the Hall 7 Cloakroom, for anyone affected by the heat
We encourage you to use these resources freely, take regular breaks, and please do not hesitate to flag anything to our onsite staff. We are here.
