🎓🦉 And just like that, their Alderwood chapter comes to a close.

Today, we celebrated our incredible 6th graders as they crossed the stage and officially became the Alderwood Class of 2026. From first-day jitters to lifelong friendships, these students have grown, learned, and created memories that will last a lifetime.

As they prepare for middle school and all the adventures ahead, we wish them courage, confidence, and success in everything they do.

Good luck on your next journey, Class of 2026. We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll accomplish.

Today, Alderwood welcomed back some very special visitors.

As part of our Senior Send-Off tradition, graduating seniors from across Irvine returned to the place where their educational journey began. Walking the halls of their former elementary school, they were greeted with cheers, smiles, high-fives, and plenty of memories along the way.

For our current Owls, it was a glimpse into the future. For our seniors, it was a chance to reflect on how far they’ve come.

Last week, Mrs. Leneker’s 5th grade class and Mrs. McClendon’s PK class enjoyed their Jogathon Pizza Party at the atrium as a reward for their amazing fundraising efforts this season! 🦉💙
