Please Welcome Mr. Zack Riley to the PACK! Zack will become our next Associate Director of Bands!

A little bit about Mr. Riley:
Mr. Riley begins his first year as Associate Band Director at Ranchview High School, bringing with him a wealth of experience, passion, and energy for music education and student success. Prior to joining Ranchview, he spent seven years teaching at Lamar High School and one year at Garland High School, where he helped students grow both musically and personally.
Mr. Riley earned his Music Education degree from the renowned University of North Texas College of Music in 2018. During his time at UNT, he studied under distinguished educators including Nicholas Williams, Dennis Fisher, and William Scharnberg. He performed with several premier ensembles, including the UNT Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, the Funky Fresh Basketball Band, and the legendary Green Brigade, where he served as both Section Leader and Field Technician.
A dedicated performer and educator, Mr. Riley’s experience extends to the national stage through Drum Corps International. He marched with the Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps in 2013 and 2014 and later returned as a visual instructor in 2015. He also served on staff with the Guardians Drum & Bugle Corps from 2017–2020. In addition, he is a respected clinician and performer throughout the DFW area and regularly performs with the Carrollton Wind Symphony.
Beyond the classroom and rehearsal hall, Mr. Riley is known for his enthusiasm, positive spirit, and genuine connection with students. A proud graduate of Lamar High School’s Class of 2011, he currently resides in Carrollton with his wife, Ashleigh, whose support has been instrumental throughout his career. In his free time, he enjoys buffalo wings, video games, fantasy football, and cheering on the Dallas Stars.The Ranchview Band community is thrilled to welcome Mr. Riley and looks forward to the passion, leadership, and excitement he will bring to the Wolfpack Band program!
