πΊπΈ In celebration of National Flag Day, the Liberty Technology High School Air Force JROTC Cadets proudly performed Color Guard for the Flag Retirement Ceremony held at American Legion Post 12 in Jackson, TN. πΊπΈ
During the ceremony, cadets helped retire more than 100 American flags that had been collected throughout the past year. This meaningful event served as an important lesson in honoring our nationβs flag and understanding the proper procedures for retiring flags that have become worn or unserviceable. ποΈβ¨
We were honored to hear from Major General Warner Ross, 77th Adjutant General of the Tennessee National Guard and Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Military, who served as the ceremonyβs guest speaker and presiding officer. πΊπΈβ
Our cadets performed exceptionally well, demonstrating professionalism, respect, and patriotism while representing Liberty Technology High School and JMCSS with pride and distinction. ππ
Way to go, Cadets! We are incredibly proud of your dedication to service, leadership, and honoring our nation's traditions! πΊπΈπβ€οΈ
