Welcome to Union University's Engineering Department!

06/23/2026

The Union University Department of Engineering is thankful for the Community Foundation of West Tennessee’s support of our Make:able and Assistive Technology projects in collaboration with the Therapy & Learning Center. Thank you for helping us create assistive/adaptive solutions for those in our community.

Today, we celebrated the organizations working every day to strengthen West Tennessee.

The Community Foundation of West Tennessee awarded $100,000 in Community Impact Grants to 12 organizations that are addressing needs across our region. From expanding access to food and transportation to supporting veterans, caregivers, workforce development, and more, these grants will help create meaningful change in our communities.

Congratulations to this year's grantees! We are honored to partner with you in building a stronger West Tennessee. 👏

We are expecting a fantastic Freshmen engineering class this fall at Union University. We look forward to our first cohort of BSE - Civil Engineering majors. With new Concentrations in Civil and Computer Engineering, a new faculty member joining our team, upgraded lab equipment for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and students making great use of the HUB and lab facilities in the Ethos Forum to work on Baja, Make:able, Aero SAE Design, and many other projects. We can't wait to see how the class of 2030 will discover, design, and innovate during their years at Union.
