During the Western Region 4-H Horse Show, we proudly presented the inaugural F. Neal Smith Equestrian Award. This award honors the legacy, passion, and dedication of Neal Smith and his lasting impact on the Western Region 4-H Horse Program.
Congratulations to our first recipient, Ramey Boone of Dyer County! Ramey’s commitment to the Tennessee 4-H Horse Project, along with her leadership, participation, and dedication, made her a deserving recipient of this special honor.
We are excited to continue recognizing outstanding 4-H equestrians who represent the values this award celebrates.

Wonderful morning spent at the Bruce Recreational Center in Dyer County. Our Agriculture Extension Agent Terrell Davis taught a session on Drone uses in Agriculture. The students asked great questions and went home knowing a little more about how their food is produced. 🧡

The Speed Division of the Western Region 4-H Horse Show finished with Senior, Junior and Pony Poles. Congratulations to our exhibitors, and to the Western Region High Point winners in the speed division. Junior High Point - Kenley Jane McKinnis of Obion County, and our Senior High Point, Annie Turner of Obion County. Annie is also a Western Region 4-H Horse Ambassador!
