Building Veterans Futures. Saving Veterans Lives.

Operation New Uniform™ (ONU), founded in 2014, has established itself as a trendsetter in the veteran service organization space. We do so by treating each Veteran as an individual, serving as many Veterans as possible without reducing quality, and meticulously tracking the results and successes of our Veterans and program. ONU defies the traditional Veteran nonprofit mantra of overextending resou

This week, as Operation New Uniform visited San Antonio during the 2026 Warrior Games, we had the opportunity to see firsthand the deep commitment this community has to supporting service members, veterans, and military spouses. ❤️

Part of that experience included meeting with Jeff Webster, President & CEO of the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce; Tim Farrell, Vice President of Military Affairs and Aerospace & Cybersecurity; and Randy Smith, Vice President of Membership Development.

Our conversation highlighted the partnerships, workforce initiatives, and community-wide support that make San Antonio a place where military-connected individuals can build successful futures long after their service ends.

As Operation New Uniform explores opportunities to expand our impact in Military City USA, we're grateful for the warm welcome, valuable insights, and meaningful conversations that are helping us better understand how we can serve this community.

Thank you to the Greater San Antonio Chamber for sharing your perspective and for the important role you play in strengthening opportunities for veterans, military spouses, and the broader military community! 👏

When Brian Allen joined Operation New Uniform, he was navigating a period of unemployment and looking for a way forward. 💼

What he found was more than career preparation; he gained valuable insight into himself and the areas where he could continue to grow both personally and professionally.

Through ONU's comprehensive transition program, veterans like Brian develop the tools, confidence, and self-awareness needed to pursue their next chapter with purpose. We're proud of Brian's commitment to personal growth and excited to see where his journey leads next. 💙

Some missions are bigger than the products they create. ❤️

Recently, ONU Director of Operations Michael Dargavell and his family visited Rethreaded in Jacksonville, a local nonprofit dedicated to restoring the lives of survivors of human trafficking through employment, career development, and supportive services.

During the visit, they toured Rethreaded's campus, learned more about their life-changing work, and explored opportunities to collaborate on a line of custom items crafted from repurposed military uniforms. 🎖️

The idea is simple but powerful: transform uniforms that carry stories of service into meaningful keepsakes, while supporting an organization that is helping individuals rebuild their lives and futures.

We're inspired by the incredible work Rethreaded is doing in our community and excited about the potential to create products that honor military service, preserve personal legacies, and make a lasting impact.

When you invest in veterans, you're investing in proven leaders. 🎖️

That's one of the reasons Ron Autrey continues to support Operation New Uniform's mission to empower transitioning servicemembers, veterans, and military spouses through career readiness and professional development.

In a recent interview with Colbi Pickett that aired across Jacksonville radio stations The Promise, Jax Classic Country, Praise 107.9, Talk 100.3, and WBOB Jacksonville, Ron shared why ONU's work matters and how military-connected individuals bring valuable skills, experience, and perspective to today's workforce.

We're grateful for Ron's partnership and proud to have him serving as the Title Sponsor of our Mission Possible Gala this October. 💙
