ntrol I cried out to God for help. Little did I know the life transformation that would take place in my life and the life of my family. I answered an altar call on March 16,1987 out of a last desperate attempt. My life was a mess, I was addicted to cocaine. Out of years of inward pain I found a drug that seemed to give me at least some temporary relief. But after awhile the drug no longer served me -I served it. With any addiction there are roots and causes that ensnare us into addiction and I had many roots. Fear, shame, and rejection to name a few. The Bible tells us we have an adversary named Satan who's purpose is to rob, kill, and destroy us. He almost had me....BUT that day God intervened . HE heard my cry and HE saved my life...the power of addiction was broken off of my life! I felt like a new person..I WAS a new person, washed inside out. I felt scrubbed clean! Although Ron & I had been living together and had a daughter together we were not married. He was not ready to commit his life to the Lord... we were unequally yoked, going in different directions. So the kids and I moved to Illinois to start anew. I remember I cried a lot that year...God did a lot of stripping of things that stood before HIM. Gone were friends, family, material possesions and Ronny...and all the familiar temptations. God was looking for my williness to put HIM first in my life. He showed me how I had put relationships before HIM. I wanted a man to love me and make me feel worthy. God was showing me I was loved and worthy in him. HE was my portion and no man, no human could fill that place in my heart. So out of obedience I let go of my will and gave Ronny to the Lord and placed him at the altar of surrender. This season was critical as the Lord was doing a deep deep work in me. During that year Ronny would come to visit occasionally and go to Church with us. He would sit and observe and ask me questions later that I couldn't answer. But seeds were being planted - God was working in his heart. His life was at a standstill and he was feeling dissatisfied. Ron came to a place where he realized God was tugging at his heart and he had a decision to make. Nothing changes if nothing changes! So he made a choice to surrender his life to Christ and left the old life behind. He left the motorcycle club and dedicated his life to pursue a new life in Christ Jesus. We married October 15, 1988 and plugged into Church and the Lord began to teach us HIS principals. In this season God started to peel away layers and layers of stinkin thinkin. Naturally speaking we had nothing, owned nothing but we had God and HE had us and HE brought us peace like we have never known. Over the course of years God has given us a burden to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. We desire for others to really KNOW HIM and a NEW LIFE HE offers. In Nov 07 we were ordained thru Deborah Ministries. We pray and seize opportunities as God leads...bars, clubhouses, funerals, weddings and Churches too! We believe we are HIS and pursue to take "Church" outside the 4 walls and lead others into a relationship with
Jesus Christ. Ron has a strong message for men regarding true brotherhood and true fellowship. God has raised him up to be a MAN amongst men.
