Kung Fu life extends far beyond the classroom walls. After an incredible and successful workshop, our students took some time to wind down, share a meal, and connect with their Kung Fu uncles.
In our lineage, we don’t just train together—we grow as a family. These moments outside of training are where bonds are strengthened, stories are shared, and the true spirit of our Kung Fu community comes to life. This past weekend, our school celebrated an incredibly meaningful milestone. During the ceremony, Sebastian took the floor to share his thoughts on his Ving Tsun journey so far, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.
"I understand that becoming a special student is not about status or recognition, it’s about responsibility. It’s about preserving the teachings that have been passed down through generations..."
Sebastian spoke about his early days at the school—starting as a quiet student observing from the background, earning trust through small everyday tasks like watering the school's plants, and discovering that Ving Tsun is far more than just self-defense. It is a path of continuous learning, patience, perseverance, and true Kung Fu family.

Reflecting on an unforgettable Kung Fu Workshop!
Last week, we had the unique privilege of training with Sifu Julian Cordero, or as we know him, Grandmaster Moy Yee Hop. Students from our Kung Fu family were incredibly fortunate to receive direct instruction from their Si-gung.
The workshop, captured perfectly in this moment from this photo, went far beyond physical training. Sifu Julian, as he likes to be called, shared not just deep technical insights into the Ving Tsun system, but also a wealth of knowledge regarding its history and our specific lineage under Patriarch Moy Yat.
Beyond the techniques, he opened up about his personal journey—the challenges and rewards of a lifelong dedication to the art. His wisdom, humility, and passion for Ving Tsun were truly inspiring.
