We are transitioning to Brooks Sharp Sixth-Grade Center. Even though we have a new name and location, we still have THE BEST sixth-grade teachers in the metro! We are getting excited about the new school year. What about you?

The Alvin Brooks Middle School 8th Grade End of Year Celebration was a wonderful way to celebrate our students as they prepare for high school!

The day began with a breakfast served by our amazing parents, followed by an exciting Field Day organized by Coach Sullivan, and ended with a special picnic made possible through parent donations and volunteers.

We are so grateful for the support of our ABMS families and wish our 8th grade class continued success in high school. We are proud of you!

Our last family engagement cookout and community resource fair at Alvin Brooks Middle School was a huge success! The attendance was beyond words, and we were proud to recognize our Honor Roll students for their hard work and achievements. Thank you to our families, staff, students, and community partners for making the evening so special! 💙🦅

What an amazing Teacher Appreciation Week at Alvin Brooks Middle School!!

This entire week was filled with love, support, encouragement, and appreciation for our incredible teachers and staff. We are truly grateful for all that you do each day to support our students and school community. Your dedication, patience, and commitment do not go unnoticed.

Today our Girls on the Run/ Heart of Sole participants showed strength, determination, confidence, and heart at the marathon! We are so proud of each young lady for pushing through, encouraging one another, and finishing strong. This experience was about more than running. It was about believing in themselves, building confidence, and realizing they can accomplish anything they set their minds to. Keep shining! ABMS Strong!!

Day 4 of Teacher Appreciation Week!

A huge shout out to Grace Baptist Church of Greater Kansas City and Pastor Kenton Schiele for the incredible love, support, and generosity shown to the students and staff at Alvin Brooks Middle School. Pastor Schiele continuously pours into our school community in so many meaningful ways, and we are truly grateful and forever thankful to have his support and partnership.

Wednesday was Day 3 of our Teacher Appreciation Week, and our community partners continue to rock!

A heartfelt thank you to Bethel Family Worship Center for your support and generosity with today’s lunch for our teachers and staff. The meal was truly enjoyed, and our staff were incredibly grateful for the kindness and appreciation shown to them today.
