Good Morning Roos! Orientations are still going strong, welcome to all of our new followers!

So many books, so little time. We have some great new books and several new complete series just waiting to be read! 📚

Congratulations to our GA, Daniela! She just graduated with her Master's in Creative Writing and will be starting a professor of literature position back in her hometown. She is currently working on an amazing novel that we will have in the Women's Center one day 😉 as well as very moving poetry and countless other thoughtful pieces. We know we will be seeing big things from her!

Another Denim Day on the books! Thanks for learning and supporting and advocating with us as we wrapped up sexual assault awareness month. 🩵

Thanks to everyone that came and shared your talents this year! We love this event so much. This year we had singers, pianists, saxophonists, poets, authors, videographers, cooks, and visual artists. Thanks to each one of you, you were all amazing!

There are so many talented people that we are surrounded by each day on campus and don't even know it, so we love to make a space where people can let loose, express themselves, and share their passion.

Get ready for next year. Hope to see you there!!

If you have not had a chance to take a look at the AIDS memorial quilt panel that is displayed in Miller Nicole's lobby, we encourage you to go see it before it leaves on Thursday.

This single panel is one of 50,000 - the largest community art project ever. It honors some of the people lost in Kansas City and if you were to attach the rest of the panels of the quilt, the entire project would reach from Whole Foods to Troost and span two blocks wide.

We can't believe it is almost the end of the semester! Here is a little shout out to our amazing student staff from this year, you all are so appreciated and we have so much fun together.

Also Congratulations to our GA, Daniela who is Student Affairs employee of the month! She is graduating this Spring and will be very missed 🥹
