Graden Elementary also represented Park Hill School District at the Missouri Schoolwide Positive Behavior Support Summer Institute this week, sharing their work of increasing Opportunities to Respond as a classroom strategy to encourage student engagement with learning activities. Participants at the Missouri Schoolwide Positive Behavior Support Summer Institute had so much fun making bracelets while the Van Horn High PBIS team shared their “SW-PBS ERA”. Swifties appreciated all the creative connections between this Independence School District high school’s practices and Taylor’s music. KC schools know how to engage an audience!

Michelle Goodson from Center Middle School in Center School District shared their reinforcement practice of Buzz Bucks with 6-8th graders. Participants in the session earned Buzz Bucks and shopped at the end of the session!
