Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures in our HTX Judo family!
Thank you for the rides to practice, the long weekends at tournaments, the words of encouragement after tough losses, and the example you set every day through hard work, discipline, and perseverance.
Judo teaches us respect, courage, self-control, and resilience—but for many of our athletes, those lessons begin at home with Dad.
Today we celebrate the men who help shape not only better athletes, but better people.
From all of us at HTX Judo, Happy Father’s Day! 🥋❤️

HTX Judo showed up and made a statement at the Westlake Judo Open.
Out of 45 academies from across Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana, our team placed 7th overall, with 13 medals earned on the day. Not bad for a group that’s still building, still growing, and still doing things a little differently than most.
What matters more than the medals is how it happened. Our athletes stepped on the mat with composure, fought with intent, and represented the club with discipline and respect. From first matches to finals, you could see the progression—not just in skill, but in mindset.
This result reflects exactly what we’ve been building: a program focused on fundamentals, pressure-tested through competition, and grounded in a “stand to ground” approach that translates under real conditions.
To our athletes—well done. You earned every bit of it.
To our parents and supporters—this doesn’t happen without you.
And to those watching from the outside—this is just the beginning.
